About us
Kapet – our mystical brand that transcends time and space, drawing inspiration from the ancient arts of the majestic Egyptians. Known as “Kyphi,” in Latin/Greek. Kapet was once a term encompassing any substance used in fumigation. However, it transformed into a revered brand of perfume in Ancient Egypt, infusing rituals and daily life with its enchanting aroma. Originally, fumigation, stemming from the Latin word “fumigare,” meaning “to smoke,” was an act performed to cleanse environments of impurities, both physical and atmospheric. In the context of Kapet, fumigation served as a transformative gateway, infusing spaces with the ethereal essence of fragrant herbs and resins, creating an ambiance of purity and tranquility.
